Colourful and Happy new Year

Hi all, here is the last card for this year.

How I made this card?
I have stamped the Argyle Background from our sponsor DRS designs on a white card stock. I then sprayed and sprinkled yellow, green and blue water colors on the card. (I used an old tooth brush for sprinkling colors). I have stamped a little over the colors once they are dry. I have used the flower punch and have used a gem stone to decorate the flower.

Card for today

Hi all, here is the card for today.

Challenge for today @ 365 cards blog is Pretty Petals – add flowers to your card two ways: stamp or patterned paper and a faux flower (at least one flower). I'd love to see your ideas over this challenge.

How I made this card?
The faux flower is made out of news paper. I have referred to this tutorial on youtube for making this flower. Rest is all about placing the pattern paper, stamping on a mint colour paper topped with a brown ribbon. I added more interest to this card with stitches on top

Colourful Birthday

How I made this card?
The other day in Walmart, the idea struck to me, when I look at the paint section. I quickly picked up a few shades of sample paint chips for different colours. I then cut those chips into thin strips and arranged in the rainbow pattern. The embellishment is made from the same samples with a  flower punch and a brad. The stitched lines, cream white ribbon (all colours of rainbow make white :-)) and the birthday stamped background add interest to the card.

Hi all, here is the card for today.

Today's Challenge @ 365 cards is to "PICK A PATTERN - Make Polka dots a bold pattern on your card". So I have stamped a polka dot background and also used a polka dot washi tape on my card. The snow is also inspired from this pattern. Do join the fun here @ 365 cards and play along.
